ECHINACEA: Many studies have shown that Echinacea prevents the formation of an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which destroys a natural barrier between healthy tissue and unwanted pathogenic organisms. Thus, Echinacea boosts the immune system. It also promotes healing of skin wounds, fights bacterial and viral infections and shortens the duration of colds and flu.
CATS CLAW: An herb that grows wild in the highland of the Peruvian Amazon. It has been used in the treatment of a wide range of health problems associated with the immune systems. Cats Claw has been extremely beneficial in the treatment of cancer, arthritis, bursitis, genital herpes and herpes zoster, allergies, ulcers, systemic candidiasis, PMS, and irregularities of the female cycle, numerous bowel and intestinal disorders and those infected with the HIV virus.
ASTRAGALUS: Promotes resistance against disease and is a mild stimulant. It may reduce blood pressure by helping to rid the body of excess water weight. Astragalus helps restore normal immune function for cancer patients.
LICORICE ROOT: Reduces pain from ulcers, is useful for urinary tract problems, breaks up congestion due to colds, soothes sore throat, reduces pain and stiffness from arthritis, helps to retard growth of certain cancer tumors and helps to prevent cavities.
ZINC: In addition to having antioxidant properties of its own, Zinc is a constituent of the antioxidant enzyme super oxide dismutase. It is also needed for proper maintenance of Vitamin E levels in the blood and aids in absorption of Vitamin A. Zinc is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system. Zinc has been known to help reduce prostate enlargement and protect against prostate cancer.
ESTER C: The highest, most efficient form of Vitamin C, Ester C is absorbed in the blood stream five times faster than that of regular Vitamin C. Ester C is a trademark of "Inter Cal".
